1 Supercharging cylinder principle



The booster cylinder is a hydraulic component that can change the input pressure and output it at a higher pressure. The booster cylinder is a combination of a hydraulic cylinder and a supercharger, using the ratio of the size of the supercharger to the area of the compression section, and the PASCAL energy principle to work. Because the pressure is unchanged, when the pressure area is changed from large to small, the pressure will also change with the size of the principle, so as to achieve the pressure pressure increased to dozens of times the pressure effect, taking the pre-pressure booster cylinder as an example: When the working pressure is pressed on the surface of the hydraulic oil (or piston), the hydraulic oil will compress the air and flow to the pre-pressure stroke chamber, at this time the hydraulic oil will quickly push the type to displacement, when the working displacement encountered resistance greater than the pressure cylinder will stop the action, at this time, the pressurizing chamber of the pressurizing cylinder because of the electrical signal (or pneumatic signal) action, began to pressurize to achieve the purpose of forming the product.

3 Precautions

Since the pressurized cylinder is often in a state of high-speed operation, it is easy to cause machine wear, so it should be operated according to the operating instructions, the working temperature of the pressurized cylinder is about -5 ° C ~60 ° C, and the operating speed is 50~1000mm/s, in order to ensure the normal work of the pressurized cylinder, the following points should be paid attention to in use:

Keep clean

Before connecting the booster cylinder to the gas circuit, please remove dust and other debris in the pipeline and components first, so as not to reduce the service life of the booster cylinder.

Use within normal air pressure range

The working pressure of the cylinder in normal use must be in accordance with the working pressure range specified in the inspection report, and shall not exceed the specified working pressure.

Pay attention to the working environment of the booster cylinder

The temperature in the working environment of the cylinder at the time of design has been set. If the working environment exceeds the temperature due to work needs, contact the relevant personnel of the pressurized cylinder technology.

Because some of the components in the cylinder are iron, please do not use it in a particularly complex working environment (such as chemical contact environment), and please install an effective air handling element (three-point combination) at the front of the cylinder and lubricate and drain when connected.

Do not change other hydraulic oil

The hydraulic oil medium selected in the design of the booster cylinder is VG68# anti-wear hydraulic oil, and other liquid media (such as oil) cannot be changed without authorization. Water, etc.)

Make sure you follow the procedure

The action procedure must be in accordance with the action procedure of the gas circuit assembly diagram, that is, the pre-pressure action - the boost action - the boost release pressure - the pre-pressure reset

Pay attention to maintenance, often check the operation of the booster cylinder

In order to avoid the excessive pressure of the cylinder during pressurization to damage your mold or workpiece, please install a pressure reducing valve at the inlet of the pressurization section of the pressurization cylinder to effectively protect your product.

In order to ensure the working stability of the booster cylinder, it is recommended to install an air storage cylinder in parallel between the three couplings and the booster cylinder as far as possible.

When the pressurized cylinder is used more than 50,000 times or more than half a year, it is recommended to replace all the hydraulic oil in the cylinder once to improve the service life and working life of the cylinder.
